1/2 Pound Butter
1/2 Pound Brown Sugar
4 Egg
1/2 Pound Mix Fruit, Sorrel Soaked
1 1/2 CUP sorrel Red Stripe Beer
1/2 Cup White Rum
3 Tablespoon Red Color
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1/2 Teaspoon Almond Flavoring
1/2 Teaspoon Mix Spice
1 Teaspoon cinnamon Powder
2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
2 Cups Baking Flour
Directions of Christmas Cake
- Butter and sugar until light and fluffy
- Gradually beat in eggs one at a time .Stir in vanilla essence and almond flavoring.
- Combine flour, mixed spice, baking powder ang nutmeg powder.
- fold the flour mixture into the creamed mixture alternately with the red color, sorrel red stripe beer and rum mixed fruits.
- scrape into a greased pan lined baking tin, bake for 1 1/2 hours at 180F or until a metal skewer inserted comes out
To Serve : Allow to cool ,sliced and serve.
